crib bumpers Crib bumpers, to use or not to use?
My 4-month ancient moves all over the place when sleeping. He had his feet caught in the crib rails this morning — he wears a sleep sack so both of them were caught — so is it safe to place a bumper on or should I just hope that he doesn’t get his feet caught again?

      I want to do a wallpaper border with polka dots (I want to use pinks, purples, greens, etc.) I’m also looking for bedding, lamps, and other accent pieces that are polka dots and stripes.

            crib bumpers Did you use a crib bumper?
            I have one (as it came with the set I bought) and I’m wondering if I should use it.

            I know they have ones that have holes in it so baby can breath just in case her face would get in it, but just wondering who used the regular ones? Why did you choose to or choose not to?
            I know it increases the risk of SIDS, but how?

            What I don’t know is that a young newborn cannot roll over or go around a lot. So how would it affect that? Also, when the baby IS able to go around and roll over, couldn’t she just go her face if it was to close to the bumper?
            Also when did you start using them?

                I’ve been reading a lot of studies about how crib bumpers can be perilous, but I’ve looked at Babies R Us, Target and Walmart, and can’t find any separate blankets – they all seem to come in a set including the crib bumpers.

                    we’re about to transfer our 5 month ancient son from our bed/bassinet to the crib. i’ve heard conflicting opinions on bumper pads in cribs. has anyone on here used them? are they safe? my son moves a lot in his sleep, but he seems to know when to go his face when it gets covered. please don’t post answers straight from the web, i want personal experiences and opinions. thank you!
